Phakding – Namche Bazar (3,440m/11,280ft); 5-6 hrs

Acclimatization day in Namche Bazar

Namche Bazar – Tengboche (3,800m/12,664ft); 5-6 hrs

Where we gonna live
  • For the first and the last night we'll stay in a comfortable hotel in Kathmandu.
  • During the trek you will stay in real mountain villages visiting real Nepalese.

    You will see the lifestyle of the locals and experience the thriving cultural heritage.
  • The trekking lodges, known as teahouses, that we stay in on the trek are very simple with only basic facilities.
  • Access to electricity points for charging devices will cost extra. Wi-Fi is available at some locations, but connections may be poor.

Dipak is a young, but experienced, guide in the mountains and is familiar with the people who live in the villages along your trek. He is filled with the love of life and will bring joy to every aspect of your trek. His energy is boundless and lives to serve with an unfailing "Can Do" attitude. His warmth, sensitivity, and fun-loving will definitely win your heart! Dipak will personally design your trek to be as safe as possible and iron out the rough edges of what may be the greatest challenge, joy, memory, and accomplishment of your life. Born in 1991, June 27th, Dipak Giri is a native of the remote and magical Rukum region. As Dipak grows up witnessing gorgeous landscapes and the unique shamanic culture of Nepal, he bears extreme love and passion for traveling in the Himalayas. He started his career as a porter in 2009 and as the saying goes, hard work always pays off. Soon after that, Dipak took his first step as a guide on the adventurous Himalayan trails and has explored all the major treks in Nepal. Today he is leading several groups in the Himalayas as a team leader.
